Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile team member to join our small restaurant team. This position involves a variety of tasks including cooking, food preparation, and front register duties. The ideal candidate should be able to handle a fast-paced environment with efficiency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Cooking: Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food quality and presentation meet our restaurant's expectations.
2. Food Preparation: Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
3. Front Register: Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area. Perform routine cleaning tasks and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
