Classic Harbor Line, a tour boat operator is seeking a part-time Deckhand/Bartender to join our growing business. Classic offers a unique work experience cruising Boston harbor and entertaining public guests. Our ship, Northern Lights, is a versatile space for weddings, corporate entertainment, birthdays, and sightseeing.
We are looking for a deckhand who has a knack for hospitality and would like to spend their time on the water. We operate year round, so there is opportunity for full time and year round employment.
Our part-time deckhands/bartenders will be responsible for:
Prepping the ship for departure
Stocking bathrooms, beverages, utensils, etc
Cleaning between trips and deep cleaning on scheduled days
Setup for special events
Be charismatic and friendly with guests
Have some experience bartending
Compensation
- Hourly rate of $16/hour, plus $15-20/hour built in gratuity equals an effective rate of $30-$35/hour BEFORE cash tips.
