Job Summary:
Our small dessert shop serves fresh fruit desserts, ice cream, and pizza in a non-oily-smoke environment. We seek a dedicated full-time kitchen staff member to support food preparation, serving, and cleaning. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting and help ensure the efficiency of restaurant workflow. Weekend and night shifts are required.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to health and safety guidelines set out by the company and under Boston and Mass Health standards.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the day.
Coordinate efforts with the head chef and senior staff.
Provide support to fellow kitchen team members.
Help maintain a positive working atmosphere with all team members.
Communicate diligently with the front desk and other kitchen staff to ensure serving efficiency.
Store all ingredients properly and safely in refrigeration/freezer.
Sanitize cutting boards, tools, knives, and work areas.
