Formaggio Kitchen is looking for a web-savvy, detail-oriented individual with a passion for food, storytelling, and customer service to join our growing e-commerce team. This position will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our mail order and e-commerce order processing located at our warehouse in Watertown, MA. This position will report to the E-Commerce Manager and will handle a range of tasks, from order picking, packing, and processing to customer support and collaboration on marketing initiatives.
Daily tasks may include:
Picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Interacting with customers via email and telephone to help drive sales and address issues.
Processing orders on our website and in our retail management system.
Supporting marketing initiatives (email, social media, etc.) to enhance our online and mail-order business under the guidance of the E-Commerce and Marketing Director, Supervising seasonal staff.
Preferred candidates will have a:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Proficiency with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office software and Google applications;
Self-driven, strong work ethic;
Exceptional customer service;
Passion for specialty food and a drive to eat, drink, taste, and learn;
Aptitude to be detail-oriented and process work in a timely manner;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;
Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills;
Desire to contribute creatively to various marketing and media efforts;
Knowledge of SEO best practices and basic HTML;
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, preferably BigCommerce;
Valid license (we need someone who can drive);
Ability to bend, push, and lift 25 pounds regularly

COMPENSATION this position is: Salaried, varies DOE, $50-58K
