SEvent Managers / Captains
Responsible for executing all necessary job tasks within a banquet (special event) setting to ensure the highest level of guest and client satisfaction.
All interviews are scheduled via email. You must have ready access to email and the internet. Smart phones are preferred. (Schedules are also sent via email)
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to communicate with Account Executives, clients, and guests clearly and concisely.
Ability to anticipate and be flexible to all changes.
Assist in all areas of job execution as needed (to include the moving of furniture to and from its original state.)
Completes assignments and or steps of service as outlined in captain’s manual, prior to call time.
Records arrival and departure times for all staff working the event
Adheres to all guidelines for booking procedures.
Adheres to all event Captain paperwork given by the sales representative.
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Ability to manage DELEGATE, DELEGATE, DELEGATE
Ability to “Multi Task”.
Ability to keep the “BIG PICTURE” in mind of the whole event
Skills
Maintains professional appearance at all times, clean and well groomed as per standards. .
Working independently and detail-oriented skills are required.
Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner when dealing with customers.
Maintains CBA Hospitality Standards
Maintains CBA Standards for food safety.
Ability to lift, bend and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must have three years of supervisory experience
As we are an off premise catering company you must have a car and be able to drive to and from events.
