We (a passionate ownership duo) are in the process of acquiring a historic inn and 55-seat restaurant in the heart of the White Mountains, New Hampshire. The restaurant has a strong reputation with locals and is perfectly positioned in a bustling, year-round destination that attracts visitors for hiking, skiing, leaf-peeping, and more.
We're looking for a talented, driven, and community-minded chef to take the reins of our kitchen, overseeing menu development, BOH operations, purchasing, and kitchen management while collaborating with ownership to create a stunning and memorable dining experience.
What We’re Looking For:
A passionate chef who wants to integrate into the community and build lasting relationships with local purveyors, farmers, and suppliers.
Someone excited about seasonal, locally sourced menus that change often, keeping things fresh and inspired.
A natural leader who can run BOH operations smoothly, manage purchasing, and train and lead a team.
A chef who wants to set deep roots, ingratiating themselves with the loyal local customer base while attracting new guests.
Someone eager to collaborate with ownership on concept and execution—this is a team effort, and we’re in it together.
The Vision:
The restaurant will be open six nights per week for dinner, with the potential for a weekend brunch service.
The restaurant will cater to a local crowd while also being a special destination restaurant that drives business to the Inn.
This property is the first of what we hope to be a growing portfolio of unique hospitality experiences worldwide.
We are looking for a chef who will run this kitchen now and, in the future, take on a larger leadership role across multiple properties.
Compensation & Perks:
$55,000 – $75,000 salary
Negotiable ownership stake in the business
On-premise housing included
Benefits package
Opportunity for long-term career growth as our portfolio expands
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a kitchen, build a legacy, and help shape the direction of a growing hospitality group. If you're looking for a place to create, lead, and grow, we'd love to hear from you.
