We at Joppa Fine Foods are fully aware of the concerns and anxiety during these trying times. As a business in a small community we have taken the necessary precautions to remain open and serve the people who have relied on us for our nearly 20 years in business. As a group, the current employees of Joppa have made a pact to maintain distancing and isolation measures to ensure their safety from infection. That being said, we find ourselves incredibly busy and realizing that we are servicing a need in the community, and feeling fortunate that we are able to do so. Given that we are so busy we find ourselves short of help. We are looking for responsible people who are willing to commit to the safety measures to which we have committed, to keep Joppa a safe work environment.
Our ideal candidate is a team player who has a strong work ethic, is passionate about food and understands the important balance of urgency and communication while maintaining quality and superb customer service. -Uphold quality and food safety, and model best practices in these areas at all times.
-A team player with strong communication skills who is comfortable taking direction from coworkers.
-Supporting any or all customer-service including prepared foods, cheese, charcuterie, espresso bar and register.
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Reliability and flexibility with scheduling is of the utmost importance.
-Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
