Carrot Flower, a plant-based café/juice bar in Jamaica Plain, has an immediate opening for a shift supervisor.
This position is a happy marriage of front and back of the house skills. Duties will include opening and/or closing, building friendly rapport with guests, ensuring that the staff and shop function efficiently in the absence of managers, assessing pars and preparing stock/prep lists, preparing fresh salads/smoothies/juices/toasts to Carrot Flower standards, maintaining a clean and functional work space and contributing input to help expand the menu and business.
The ideal applicant will have:
-Food service experience
-Open availability including weekends
-Experience in a supervisory role
-A positive, upbeat attitude
-Excellent customer service skills
Pay: $14.50/hour plus tips (tips are pooled and generally add about $3/hour).
Hours: approximately 30+ hours per week with potential for more. Days only.
