Established JP neighborhood restaurant looking for a full-time EXPERIENCED lead cook for upcoming busy patio season and beyond. Minimum 3 years experience in casual upscale dining. Candidates should be able to read and follow recipes and maintain health department, food quality, and restaurant standards. Serv-safe certification preferred. We run a small, tight-knit crew — it’s important that the candidate works well with others, without attitude or ego. Our company culture allows no room for substance abuse issues or drama, so if you’re prone to either this is not the right position for you.

The position is best suited to an experienced line cook who is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow as a kitchen manager. You’ll be responsible for prepping and working a station while upholding our culinary standards in a busy and fast-paced environment. Depending on experience and ability, you may also have responsibilities related to menu development and execution, expediting, kitchen operations (ordering, receiving, etc.).

We are open Tuesday - Saturday, for dinner only; closed on Sundays and Mondays as well as major holidays. No late nights, no brunch. We offer competitive pay depending on the candidates skill and experience level, as well as performance bonuses during the busiest months. Health insurance offered for full-time employees.
