Dryft Wellesley is an exciting new addition to the restaurant scene in Linden Square in historic Wellesley, MA. The concept of Dryft Wellesley comes from the established Dryft Revere location that blends traditional Italian cuisine and fresh seafood. We are looking for dynamic motivated individuals to join our front of house team and be the heartbeat of our new restaurant. Qualifications:
Previous experience in a server is preferred.
Exhibit knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, as well as awareness of any special promotions and allergens.
Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tables, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely service.
Understanding and adherence to responsible alcohol service practices, including checking IDs and monitoring guest alcohol consumption.
Ability to adapt to a high-volume environment and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Have flexible weekend availability and/or weekday morning availability.
Positive attitude and genuine love for hospitality and community.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Communicate specials, menu items, and promotions with enthusiasm and product knowledge.
Take accurate orders, ensuring guest preferences, allergies, and modifications are communicated effectively to the kitchen.
Efficiently prioritize and manage time, especially during peak hours.
Juggle multiple tables, providing attentive service to all guests.
Promptly address guest concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables throughout the dining experience.
Handle cash transactions and process payments through the POS system accurately and efficiently.
Maintain composure under pressure, ensuring quality service during high-demand periods.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow.
