A&B Burgers on Cabot St in Beverly, MA is looking to hire an AGM to assist our GM in the full operations of the restaurant. We are an elevated American Pub with a focus on award-winning burgers, scratch made comfort foods, craft cocktails and a rotating list of local breweries.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager looking for on the job training to learn everything about taking the next step to being a GM and having your own store. We are a growing company on the North Shore and in Boston and looking for exciting and excited restaurant professionals. We are looking for an immediate hire.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, including our bar and catering.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals and maximize profitability.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Supervise and train staff members in various departments, including bartending and service.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to meet budgetary guidelines.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills:
- Previous experience in the hospitality management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff members, and vendors.
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, food production processes, and service procedures.
- Proficient in using computer systems for reservations, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
