Team Members will be expected to:
Welcome guests and provide friendly customer service
Take customer orders at our walk-up and drive-through windows
Use our point-of-sale system to process cash and credit payments
Make frozen treats according to brand standards
Pump the Italian Ice to maintain its consistency
Practice safe food handling procedures (hand washing, wearing gloves, etc.)
Maintain a clean work area (including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, removing trash, etc.)
Interface with third-party delivery apps like DoorDash, GrubHub, and UberEats
Process Online Ordering from the Rita's App
Restock supplies
Adhere to the Rita’s Uniform & Appearance Standards
Be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs
Be able to stand for long periods of time during busy shifts
Staff members may be expected to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, as part of job duties
Other duties as needed
Candidates must complete online and in-shop training programs
Once basic Team Member training is complete, staff members may become eligible to train for Shift Lead or Certified Ice Maker position (18+).
We are looking for candidates who are:
Available a minimum of 2 days per week from 12-4 pm Mon-Fri (flexibility is needed as days may vary week to week).
(Additional hours are available days/evenings/weekends, spring/summer/fall up to 35 hrs./week)
Self motivated, friendly, and conscientious
Honest, accurate, and dependable
Able to listen and communicate effectively in English
Able to read and follow directions in English
Able to work as part of a team
Able to make change accurately
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
