We are looking for:

DESCRIPTION:
We operate a duck-forward fry stand at Snowport. You’ll help us serve Duck Poutine, and other french fry and duck related dishes.
Primary positions: Fryer, Line Cook (finishing and plating), and Cashier.
You’ll be trained for your position; cross-training may occur based on volume. Duties also include restocking, basic prep, and keeping the stand clean and organized. Some shifts may include commissary runs (if you have a vehicle).
COMPENSATION:
- $20–$25/hr (depending on experience)
- Tips split evenly among on-shift staff
- End-of-season bonuses based on attendance and revenue (modeled after Snowport vendor norms)
- Referral/“finder’s” bonus for teammates you refer who complete the season
- Paid breaks (minimum one hour for every 6 hours worked)
- Staff meal from our menu (and occasional vendor trades)
DATES:
- Training: Three days prior to opening (Nov 4–6)
- Market: Nov 7 – Dec 28
- Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Dec 26
HOURS:
Mon–Thu: 3 pm – 8 pm
Fri–Sat: 11 am – 9 pm
Sun: 11 am – 8 pm
Expect to arrive 1 hour before opening for setup and stay 30 minutes after close for breakdown.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to communicate in English
- Available for weekends, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve
- Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, outdoor winter market environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fast food/food service experience
- Fryer experience (strong plus)
- Food handler’s certificate (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent)
- POS/cash handling (for cashier role)
- Driver’s license & vehicle (for occasional kitchen/supply runs)
