Job Description:
Vino Volo (Boston) currently has openings for Associates to join our team! If you are looking for a service position with no early mornings or late nights, competitive pay (hourly + tips) and great benefits (medical, dental, vision) then this is the place for you!
The position of Associate at Vino Volo is full time or part time employment and is responsible for surprising and delighting Vino Volo customers through sophisticated customer service and wine expertise at the tasting bar, in the tasting lounge or in the retail section of the store.
Work experience must include one or more years as a server in a well-respected full-service restaurant or wine bar.
Knowledge and Skills:
Skilled at and enjoys delivering excellent customer service
Enthusiasm for and knowledge of wines and a desire to learn more about wines
Responsible and reliable
21 years of age or older (must be able to taste and evaluate product)
Ability to communicate in English effectively, both orally and in writing
Able to be flexible with overtime hours in the event of flight delays
Able to carry and balance a tray of full wine glasses. Able to push, pull, lift and/or carry a case of wine (up to 50 pounds)
