Transfers are done with a ceiling track system and an electric hoist similar to a hoyer (no lifting).
Time:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6pm 10pm. You will usually be out by 9:30
Description:
Make and feed me dinner (reheating and not cooking)
Transfer me to bed
Undress me in bed I weigh 135 lbs so this is not difficult
Give me a suppository and transfer me to my shower chair
Back me over the toilet and be prepared for digital stimulation google it (digital stimulation for spinal cord injury)
Roll me to the shower for shampoo and soap down
Setup my bed
Floss/brush/rinse
Back to bed
Set me up for the night
You will be trained as many nights as you need to feel comfortable.
Experience is not necessary. Some of my best aids have been people with NO experience
