We are offering an exciting internship training opportunity for someone interested in becoming an ophthalmic technician.
Ophthalmic technicians are medical assistants who help Ophthalmologists (EYE-MDs) perform office diagnostic testing, minor surgical procedures and selected administrative tasks. Presently, there is a shortage of ophthalmic technicians in Massachusetts, so they are in high demand.
In this program, the intern will be personally trained by the Ophthalmologist, the program is ten weeks long and the hours are: every Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday, from 9AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM. Since this is an internship, it is unpaid.
