Disabled male looking for personal care for one shift or possibly two
I would have no problem with one PCA working all 30 hours, but would also consider splitting the two shifts between 2 PCA’s
First shift, Monday, Wednesday Friday mornings 7 AM to 12 PM.
Second shift, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 3 PM to 6 PM
Depending upon the shift duties may include; transfers in and out of bed, toileting, showers, light, housekeeping, cooking, laundry, errands, etc.
Because of the transfers I prefer a male in the mornings however, will consider a strong woman if experienced (with stand pivot transfers) my weight is 160 pounds
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move client as needed
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures is a plus
Must be punctual and reliable, have references and at minimum one year experience. Also must be able to legally work in the United States and speak English
The pay for this job is $19 per hour through Tempus Unlimited, the pay is biweekly
