We have an excellent position for a reliable and outgoing Personal Care Assistant (PCA) who would enjoy accompanying my disabled friend Michael (60) on day trips and personal care. You’ll be driving him in his wheelchair-accessible mini-van. Michael enjoys heading out to local diners, drive-ins, and dives, movie outings, museum visits, family outings, or simply spending time at a coffee shop people-watching. It is a really fun day. A valid driver's license is required.
Shift is on Saturdays from 1:00pm to 9:00 pm.
In addition to these day trips, your responsibilities will be providing one-on-one personal care such as grooming, dressing, hygiene, medication via a g-tube, feeding, and getting him ready for bedtime. His care is easy-peasy.
Regrettably, due to a shortage of assistance, training sessions are limited to weekdays from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Kindly inform us of your availability for training. Let us know if you’re available at these times.
$19.50 per hour, paid every two weeks through Tempus Unlimited. Please note, this is not a cash payment position.
