Fidelity House CRC is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families. We are proud to offer 26 community residences throughout Lawrence, Methuen, Haverhill, Georgetown, Salisbury, Amesbury and Andover along with specialized services across 70 cities and towns in Northeastern Massachusetts.

Energetic Program Director needed at a community residence to ensure the safety, well-being, and enhancement of services for our individuals so that they can achieve the richest and most fullest life possible.

The location of this residential program is in Amesbury, MA

SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm (40 Hours Per Week)

KEY ACTIVITIES:

Oversee program specific training of staff.

Provide supervision of staff development.

Ensure compliance with Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations.

Communicate frequently with families and guardians of individuals in our care.

Monitor financials such as house budgets, individual accounts, etc.

Recruit and hire staff, as needed.

Provide orientation for new staff.

Provide hands on training for staff as needed or appropriately schedule for certifications/trainings.

Meet with Program Assistant, Skills Instructors and overnight staff minimally once a month for individual supervision regarding their implementation of program goals.

Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.

Complete staff schedules ensuring confirmed schedules are entered in the electronic time-keeping system. (AOD).

Conduct staff performance evaluations (Introductory and Annually).

Ensure compliance of Personnel Policies within the program.

Flexible schedule with the ability to provide emergency coverage of the program(s) as needed (i.e., on call physical coverage).

Participate in transitions of referred individuals to program.

In collaboration with clinical team, develop individual support plans for each individual in a timely manner and update and document as appropriate.

Monitor implementation of ISP goals.

Arrange for, and monitor, necessary medical, dental, and allied health services in collaboration with Staff Nurse or VP of Health services.

Coordinate with Day Programs to ensure consistency of care.

Encourage the participation in recreational and community resources, integrated activities etc.

Ensure confidentiality; protect the rights and freedoms of individuals served .

Oversee the management of Individuals funds, (e.g. arrange for individual bank accounts, social security benefits, , etc.) Ensure monthly service fees are paid.

Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the program site and program vehicles. Arrange for furnishings and equipment, as needed.

Monitor usage of program funds in the most cost effective manner possible.

Develop and maintain record keeping in accordance with program needs and DDS Regulations.

Participate in overall program planning and development.

Conform with, and meet all reporting and regulatory requirements as stipulated by funding sources.

Other duties as needed or assigned by the Senior Program Director or VP of Residential Services.

Job Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor Degree in a related field

Three years experience in Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Human Services field

Must have Medication certification and CPR/First Aid certification.

Must have a valid Drivers License.

Supervisory, managerial, administrative and clinical skills required
