Seeking PCA to care for 70yr old female wheelchair bound with MS. Daily activities include meal prep, cleaning, help with showering and grooming. Additional responsibilities include taking to doctors appointments, laundry, and grocery shopping. Prefer female PCA due to responsibilities, and must be fluent in English, clearly spoken and written.
Pay is funded by the state (BCIL / MassHealth) at non negotiable rate of $19/hr base pay.
Need someone to share hours with current PCA, provide occasional full week coverage and some weekends as needed. Hours negotiable depending on your availability.
Applicant should be a non-smoker.
Activities of Daily Living that worker is required to perform:
- assistance with medications or other health-related needs
- bathing/grooming
- dressing or undressing
- eating
- housekeeping
- laundry
- meal preparation and clean-up
- mobility
- shopping
- toileting (occasional)
-transportation
Approximate number of hours per week: 15 to 40
Applicant should be willing to provide a job reference and submit to background check.
