Job Title: Staff Pharmacist
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Byfield, MA 01922
Note: These positions will be fully onsite at the Byfield, MA location - candidates must be locally sourced. The office will be moving to Newburyport, MA within the few months
Schedule Notes:
Option 1: Five days, Monday to Friday, with two shifts available: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and three shifts available: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Option 2: Four days, Monday to Friday, with one shift available: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and three shifts available: 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
Please note: During the first week only, training will be from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
Interprets physicians' prescriptions and compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines.
Consults with customers regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
Counsels customers and handles complex problem resolution.
Performing first and second verification of prescription orders, performing DUR’s, outreach to prescriber offices.
Fielding phone calls from patients as well as prescriber’s offices
Skills:
Accurate, efficient and excellent customer service skills
At least one year as a registered pharmacist, retail or similar experience preferred
Education:
Requires a RPh license.
The candidate should have a Pharm D or bachelors in Pharmacy AND licensed in MA.
