Weston & Sampson is looking to add an entry-level Campus Recruiter for our engineering company that has a passion for finding top entry-level talent. A successful candidate will partner with hiring managers to learn their discipline, understand their hiring needs, and design and execute innovative direct sourcing strategies to hire top entry-level talent using various platforms and forming relationships with engineering colleges and technical high schools across the East Coast.
What you’ll do:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, arranging interviews, interviewing, collecting feedback, conducting references, negotiating offers, coordinating onboarding
Be the point person with engineering colleges/universities and technical high schools to participate in their career fairs, interview days
Plan recruiting campaigns that will target qualified entry-level candidates that are interested in a career with Weston & Sampson
Facilitate recruiting strategy meetings with individual hiring managers so all expectations are met
Track candidate lifecycle through applicant tracking system
Handle spring, summer and fall co-op hiring for various disciplines within the company
Continually network with internal and external talent to build a proactive pipeline
Coordinate a STEM Initiative with various local high schools
What you will bring:
BA/BS degree in Business, HR, Communications or related field
1-3 years overall recruiting experience preferred but experience with college admissions a plus
Experience leveraging social media to source and attract talent, particularly LinkedIn
Ability to understand what type of candidate works both for the company and the discipline that is hiring
Highly motivated, results driven and able to work independently as well as with the team
Willingness to travel to college fairs throughout the East Coast
High commitment to customer service to both internal and external clients – follow-through is a must!
