Sanctuary Medicinals in Littleton MA is seeking one Human Resources Assistant to join our Massachusetts HR department. This will be a supporting role to the Director of HR. This is a part-time role. Position Type: Full-time 40 hours per week on site – Littleton location (Hybrid TBD). We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.Job Summary: As an HR Assistant in the cannabis industry, you will provide essential support to the HR department by assisting in various human resources functions. This is an entry level role.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment Support: Assist in the coordination of recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Support the on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with state and federal regulations in our HRIS/other operational systems. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HR documents, such as offer letters and employee files. Assist in maintaining our LMS (Learning Management System) and engaging team members to complete trainings Team engagement:Plan and manage morale boosting activities/initiativesCompliance: Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as needed. Compliance projects to be delegated by the Director of HR. Assist with background checks and other compliance requirements for on-boarding. Assist in frequent HR audits for compliance. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or applicable certificate, or no degree or certification but does hold equivalent proven experience). 1-2 years of experience in HR or related administrative roles preferred. Familiarity with Massachusetts employment laws is preferred. Working in a regulated industry is preferred. Other tasks and projects as delegated by the Director of HR. Role and duties are subject to change with our business operational needs.Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
