The Temple in Lexington is seeking custodians for Sunday morning and two shifts during the week at 4-9pm.
We are looking for a committed self-starter with a minimum of 3 years of custodial or maintenance mechanic experience with a Temple or House of Worship. The ideal candidate should be experienced in cleaning and sanitizing in a commercial building, setting up and breaking down for events, understanding event logistics, managing A/V equipment, preparing for worship services, and performing general cleaning and maintenance work, including summer turnovers, strip/seal floors, carpet cleaning, and routine repairs. The candidate must be detail-oriented and able to stay productive with little oversight and supervision.
This position necessitates close collaboration with staff, clergy, and congregation members, emphasizing courtesy and accommodation as crucial attributes for success.
