Local theater in Arlington, MA, is seeking a part-time custodian to help maintain the facility. This role involves cleaning the theater after performances, as well as performing routine cleaning tasks to keep the space presentable and functional. Flexible hours. Handyman skills a plus (but not required). Convenient to bus routes 77, 79, 80, 87, 95, and 350.
Responsibilities:
Clean the facility after shows, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash and recycling.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, and backstage spaces.
Perform general cleaning tasks on a regular schedule.
Assist with minor repairs and projects, if skilled in basic handyman tasks (preferred but not required).
Requirements:
Experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings (or early mornings) and weekends.
Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Basic repair and maintenance skills are a plus but not required.
