Simply Miraculous Fine Gardening is small gardening company looking for experienced, detail oriented fine gardeners with supervisory skills. Our primary focus is maintaining foundation beds, creating exceptional garden beds and performing specialized hand pruning of various ornamental shrubs and small trees. We also install seasonal color plantings, create/maintain planters, and dabble with some holiday outdoor décor.
Currently, we have a waiting list for individuals who wish to obtain our services, so we are looking to hire more experienced gardeners.
Our season has already begun and we wind down by Thanksgiving week.
Field work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00am-3:30/4:00pm.
Fridays are used as a makeup rain day or yard area/tool organization time hen necessary. (Fridays are not mandatory)
We currently service the Hingham area only at this time.
LEAD HEAD GARDENER/SUPERVISOR REQUIRED QUAILIFICATIONS
Have a positive attitude, be detail oriented, reliable, flexible and takes pride in a job done well.
Is able to communicate clearly with customers, as well as gardeners when servicing a client's property.
Has the ability to lead your gardening team on industry standard gardening practices.
Must have perennial and shrub identification knowledge.
Have experience with various pruning styles for different types of ornamental shrubs and small trees.
Be able to spot insect and disease issues in the landscape they are assigned to service and bring to the attention of company owner.
Be familiar with tools used to perform necessary for “fine” gardening tasks.
Upon arrival at a property, you must be able to assess what needs to be done and delegate tasks to the gardeners assigned to you. Instruction may be necessary from time to time as some are still learning.
Complete tasks assigned with your team of gardeners in the allotted time given for each client per visit.
Before each days shifts end, the Head Lead Gardener needs to records job details and tally up labor for each client serviced on a device provided to them
Must be able to lift 25lbs min.

Part-time and full-time shifts for this positions are available.
Simply Miraculous supplies shirts, sweatshirts, and hats.
All Tools are provided for each gardeners.
Pay is based on experience, availability and skill level. Hourly rate is open to negotiation to candidates that have exceptional fine gardening skills.
