I need part time help for up to two weeks.
Mostly for help emptying a house I am selling and to do miscellaneous minor repairs. Scheduling is flexible.
I need muscle power with a few good neurons. A students welcome. A friendly, positive attitude is essential. A sense of humor adds value. Familiarity with basic tools also helpful.
If the only thing you lifted this week, was your iPhone: Please: order another pizza and keep the couch warm. I don’t want to bother you.

I am selling off my Newton houses, and need help loading an 18 wheeler with anything worth taking. That is the primary work objective.

I have been an licensed builder in Massachusetts for the last 50 years. I used to do stand up comedy, when politically incorrect was pay dirt. I even opened for Jay Leno when dinosaurs roamed Cambridge, and before the zombie apocalypse.
Alas at 72 with two fake feet, a fake knee, two broken shoulders and a brain that insists I am still 20 while my protesting body resists a scheduled recall by the maker, (for whom I have saved several choice words). Alas again, I need the help of an able bodied soul. That might be you.
NOTE: I have enjoyed several great lifetimes of hyperactive adventures wrecking this body: I don’t regret it and I am not done yet. But I am conserving my residual neurons, muscle mass and joint articulation, for fun and worthy adventurous obliteration of the entirety, before returning my sorry borrowed star dust to the Omni-verse for recycling. I am 97% biodegradable.
FYI: The “Yacht Club”
My legacy project is building a non-profit Yacht Club for the newly minted “dignified poor” (formerly known as the American middle class). An RV camp and tent camping facility will provide housing for access to the last abandon part of the North Carolina Outer Banks Beaches and fishing sanctuaries.
Catching dinner with a rod a reel, cooking it on an open fire or Bar-B-Q watching the sunset over the ocean and islands, with a rum or beer, is just as beautiful for the “poor” and appreciated much more as real life wealth.
The Corporate cannibal racketeers, and the obscenely wealthy who devour the waterfront and prevent the public from enjoying this amazing public treasure, namely the Outer Banks Beaches, Cape Cod and the entire Atlantic coast, are unworthy trustees of this experience, and don’t fully appreciate the majesty of nature. I admire honest competitive capitalism. The problem is: real capitalism has been banned. The best revenge is to have more fun.
