We are urgently looking for a part-time drivers assistant! This position will report to the shop located in Amesbury, MA and will be assisting the Licensed Delivery drivers with material deliveries to customer sites.
- Assist our CDL drivers with the delivery of chemicals and equipment to customer sites.
- Other plant oriented tasks to assist in workflow.
- While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, push/pull with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and feel or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to see color.
- Perform material handling operations at the plant and at customer sites. Ability to load, lift and move heavy objects. Physically can carry 50 lbs up three flights of stairs. Physically can move full 55-gallon drums (600 lbs) with drum dolly 50 feet. Lift and carry up to 100 lbs. Able to perform bending, pushing and pulling on a daily basis.
- Able to work with drums, chemical transfer pumps, hoses, and blending equipment.
- Able to wear all appropriate and required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Receive direction from supervisor and complete assigned tasks on time and as requested.
