Location: Woburn, MA (22 Prospect Street, Unit 8)
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 3–4 days per week, typically Tuesday–Friday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Flexible scheduling available, including shorter shifts or occasional Saturday hours for the right candidate.
About the Role
Manzi Appraisers & Restoration is seeking a detail-oriented Restoration Shop Assistant to support furniture, frame, and artwork restoration. This is a support role working under the direction of the Furniture Restoration Lead, assisting across multiple departments.
Pay: $20–$23/hr (based on experience)
Key Duties
Assist with frame repair, finish/color matching, and re-backing
Painting prep and artwork handling
Light woodworking and shop prep
Support upholstery with prep tasks
Help with pickups and deliveries
General shop organization and supply prep
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Background check and pre-employment drug screening (per MA law)
Smoke-free workplace
Professional appearance (Manzi apparel provided)
Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
Discretion when handling high-value items
