We're looking for a contract attorney to help out with our work load. This can fold into a full time position for the right candidate but for right now it's a contract/part time position. You can expect significant client contact and significant court time. You'll also enjoy flexible office hours.

Duties of the position
Appear in Court
Negotiate and Draft Agreements with Opposing Parties and their attorneys
File Motions in Court as Appropriate
Argue Motions in Court
Draft Pleadings
Conduct Discovery
Research Issues
Provide legal advice and guidance on client matters
Review and analyze legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and leases
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in MA
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
This is a challenging and rewarding position for an attorney. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, negotiate agreements, settlements and represent clients in court.
A background in Housing Law is helpful. A CPCS background is also a big plus. Looking for skill sets in Personal Injury as well.
