Startup tech company in the healthcare space is hiring local parent community marketing leads in the greater Boston Metro area. Join a team of community leads to promote the company’s services and mission within local parent social media groups, local postering and other event staffing. This role is fully remote and ideal for a parent looking for part-time or side hustle work in their local community.
Our launch strategy requires a hyper-local presence and knowledge of your Metro Boston community and parent networks. Super bonus points if you live in or adjacent to one of the following communities:
- Boston (any neighborhood!)
- Brookline/Cambridge/Somerville/Arlington/Medford
- Watertown/Belmont/Medford
- MetroWest
- Metro North
- North Shore
While the work is marketing, no direct marketing experience is required. The ideal candidate is:
- A parent looking for a 5-10 hours/week
- Social media savvy (Facebook groups, Reddit and similar), with direct experience with/existing membership in local Parent/Mom/Dad Facebook Groups
- Located in/adjacent to priority communities above
- Someone with exposure to/knowledge of pediatric healthcare, therapies and specialties
- Familiar with using the Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets Good Drive, etc.)
- Able to staff a local event in your area (often nights or weekends) for a few hours once or twice a quarter
Compensation is an hourly rate with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week. In addition to the hourly rate, this role is eligible for bonuses based on your activities tied to business growth.
