CNC Machinist Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC milling machines and other related equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured parts, contributing to the overall success of our production processes.
Responsibilities - Set up and operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. - Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality control and inspection of finished parts. - Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. - Conduct measurements using micrometers and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment- 5 years minimum - Proficiency in operating horizontal CNC milling machines and familiarity with Mazatrol controls. - Strong understanding of machining processes, including the use of power tools and fabrication techniques. - Excellent mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. - Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
