CNC Lathe or Milling Machinist:
Qualified candidates will have the ability to work independently while machining quality parts in a timely manner. This position requires experience running CNC machining centers, Lathes or Mills in a fast-paced job-shop environment. Experience and ability to program CNC’s is preferred. Should have experience set-up tooling, vices, and fixtures.

2 plus years of machining experience
Job Responsibilities:
Set-up & machine parts with skills to edit programs, make proper adjustments and work independently.
Flexible handling and working on multiple projects at one time.
Responsible for the quantity and quality of work performed as well as the overall quality dimensionally and visually of the parts or services produced, modified or otherwise created.
Produces parts or the task assigned in the best possible manner including production, setup, adjustments and deburring of parts.
A willingness to learn new programing and take on new tasks or projects.
Responsible for programming machines if needed and/or modifying programs to make the parts as needed in an efficient and effective manner.
Works closely with maintenance, machinists, operators and management to resolve problems. Works with any employee needed to help resolve any issue that may arise.
Reports to operations manager any problem causing production downtime, rejected or damaged parts, along with recommendations for corrective action to be taken.
Strong communication skills with the ability to read & write effectively using English.
Ability to read and understand written instructions, job travelers and other company paperwork.
Responsible for good housekeeping, cleanliness and safe working conditions in their
department.
Anything else deemed necessary by management.
