The Foam Fabricator position is a role focused on the setup and operation of equipment to ensure that foam cushions fit specific container configurations. The role involves working with various tools and machinery to cut, assemble and inspect foam components while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Work from Part Drawings, bill of materials, and assembly drawings to perform setup and operation duties.
Maximize stock usage and perform layout activities for sub-component construction and assembly.
Requirements:
Ability to read a tape measure
Keep daily production and other records as required.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area and equipment
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
