Shop Laborer (Pembroke, Ma) Part time/Full time
Looking for a shop labor to join our machine shop team. Ideally, the candidate would be detail oriented, dependable and interested in a career as a CNC Machine Operator.
Job Summary
As shop laborer you will be part of our team ensuring that all operations meet our rigorous standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. This role requires detail oriented, as you will assist workflow, resolve technical issues, and promote a productive, safety-focused work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Daily shop tasks such as cleaning, stocking & organizing materials, preparing materials
Assisting CNC Machinists in completing shop orders.
Maintaining equipment by organizing and overseeing routine maintenance
Troubleshooting machining issues and work with the team to minimize downtime.
Assist in setting up CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) as needed to support daily production
Providing support to ensure efficient workflow in CNC machining operations
Assist in conducing quality checks on completed work.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong Time Management
Self-motivation
Ability to prioritize tasks
Manage your workload effectively to achieve goals without constant supervision
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
