Sanitation Supervisor - 3rd Shift
The Sanitation Supervisor works to direct the sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with industry and food safety standards. Supervise and coordinate activities for Team Members engaged in all aspects of sanitation activities.
Responsible for directing and developing employees to meet all sanitation, product safety & regulatory compliance
Ensures standards for sanitation for facility, in conformity with FDA & GMP regulations and company standards, are met
Directs cleaning of equipment and work areas
Inspects facility and implements resolutions
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications
Reviews and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
Observes workflow to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards
Complies, stores, and retrieves sanitation data
Meets with work teams for training and to discuss past results and current trends
Promotes and maintains a positive environment fostering employee engagement, team building and continuous improvement
Requirements

Skills, & Abilities
Experience cleaning in the food industry
Knowledge and experience performing basic maintenance & equipment tear-down
Knowledge of Lock Out- Tag Out safety codes
Able to work well without direct supervision
Able to operate all necessary equipment and perform all physical requirements of the job
Able to communicate effectively
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required
Education & Experience Requirements
Capable of influencing team members to work towards achieving organizational and individual goals
One to three years of experience in supervisory/leadership role. Experience in food manufacturing or a related field is desired
Must have effective communication and leadership skills
Must be flexible with work hours and be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Preferred Work Experiences
Food production facility (2 years)
Leadership (1 year)
MUST BE BILINGUAL (English and Spanish)
MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES
