We are looking for a jewelry appraiser. A gemologist degree is not required but would be considered a major asset as would real-life experience in the industry grading and pricing jewelry or diamonds.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluating jewelry, appraising diamonds and assigning value based on secondary market prices
- Test metals
- Assess jewelry for proper hallmarks and karat stamps
- Verify certifications
- Other assorted tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Gemologist certification is a benefit but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage within strict timelines
Interactions:
This position requires teamwork within the Customer Service department, Appraisal departments and heads of department.

Work Hours: full-time 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday; or a portion thereof
