⚫️ The Role ⚫️
The perfect Snack Shipping Wiz will be a problem solver with a bias for action who thrives on making things better. We want help developing a smoother, more streamlined shipping flow that ensures customers receive their snacks quickly, with care, and with minimal cost and waste.
This role will report directly to the cofounder and start at 15 hours a week, progressing to a 40-hour-per-week position if successful.
The Snack Shipping Wiz will be responsible for assembling and shipping packages, organizing our shipping space, improving the shipping process, and managing inventory. They will be responsible for ensuring that the the entire order-to-customer flow is exceptional.
Some responsibilities include:
Assembling orders with correct snacks, materials, and printed shipping labels
Hand-writing notes to customers in every order
Storing and organizing snacks from suppliers
Tracking and maintaining inventory levels
Suggesting and implementing process improvements
Learning, growing, and having fun
Being a key part of the business
⚫️ Preferred Qualifications ⚫️
College degree completed or in progress
Work history or coursework related to business, logistics, operations or distribution
Enthusiasm about the importance of health and nutrition
Familiarity with or willingness to learn Shopify and Google Suite

airfare was founded by Geremy and Justin, working professionals who travel frequently and place a premium on our health. In 2019, they cofounded airfare on the belief that diet is a building block for a strong and happy body and mind. They have found that healthy eating is foundational for conscious and fulfilling work and relationships.
Justin—an attorney, business executive, and health writer—conceived of the idea while traveling for work. Geremy is an MBA-equipped manager and leader at a tech company, and is also extremely mindful (and effective) with respect to his health and wellness.
Other critical members of the airfare team include other warehouse associates, software engineers, user experience designers, and a broad set of advisors helping the company learn and grow.
