Our client, an educational technology company located in southern New Hampshire, is seeking a Tax Assistant to join their team for 3 months. The hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, and it is compensating up to $27 an hour, depending on experience. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.Responsibilities:Process and manage payments and filings to ensure timely submission.Handle sales tax exemptions, ensuring all procedures and guidelines are followed.Process and respond to tax notices in a timely and efficient manner.Liaise with state departments regarding payments and notices to maintain compliance.Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.Assist with scheduling meetings for executives and clerical work as needed.Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
