Avery Property Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, equipment, and facilities. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from routine checks and minor repairs to more complex troubleshooting and installations.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair basic systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment.
Perform general repairs, including carpentry, painting, and patching and sheet rock application.
Maintain grounds and common areas.
Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
General knowledge of electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, masonry, painting, sheetrock installation, plastering and carpentry.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation, preferably a truck
