Market. Manage. Maintain. These are the key roles you'll take on as a Property Manager with TIG Management! In this dynamic and highly visible role, you’ll oversee all operational aspects of a diverse real estate portfolio in Metro Boston’s vibrant neighborhoods. From ensuring resident satisfaction to achieving financial objectives, your expertise will be integral to the success of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Occupancy: Maintain high occupancy levels through proactive marketing strategies.
Resident Relations: Facilitate smooth move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and recertifications while addressing resident issues promptly and professionally.
Compliance: Ensure property compliance with state and federal regulations, including maintaining organized and accurate resident files.
Property Maintenance: Oversee property and grounds upkeep, manage maintenance staff and vendors, and implement preventative maintenance programs.
Financial Management: Approve rental applications, manage timely rent collection, and handle security deposits, rent adjustments, and more within AppFolio.
Vendor Relations: Maintain service agreements and certificates of insurance for external vendors.
Inspections & Reporting: Conduct annual inspections, monitor utility consumption, and develop quarterly market studies.
Evictions: Manage the eviction process when necessary, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Qualifications
Required:
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
3–5 years of property management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (preferably AppFolio).
Excellent customer service skills.
Familiarity with affordable housing programs and maintenance operations.
Preferred:
Proficiency in Spanish.
2+ years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs.
