Leasing Consultant/Administrative Assistant (Internship)
Real estate company located in the North End of Boston seeking a motivated self starter who is a ready to join a busy office and be a part of our small team. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door in Boston real estate, and learn about property management and sales.
The ideal candidate is available on at least a part-time basis now, with the ability to transition to full-time by the summer. This is a great position for current college students. Flexible hours are available now, and we will consider either part-time or full-time positions starting in the summer. Real estate license is NOT required.
Job duties include:
- Setting up appointments for apartment showings
- Assisting prospective residents with the leasing process
- Maintaining online advertisements
- Managing phone and email communications; addressing tenant maintenance concerns
- Assist with ROIs and property renovations
- Coordinate move-ins/move-outs and conduct apartment inspections
- Assist with legal paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants
- Providing administrative support for efficient operation of the office
- Administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning, etc.
Requirements:
- Some college preferred (may be a current student). Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- 1+ years experience sales or property management (preferred)
- Must be able to commute to the North End of Boston without parking
- Must be able to work Saturdays in the summer
- Minimum commitment through September 2026
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Highly self-motivated
- Friendly with strong interpersonal skills
