Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Retail Sales Associate. Primary responsibilities of this position are ringing sales, providing amazing customer service and driving sales on weekday, evening and weekend shifts.
This role also supports the store with stocking the sales floor, light inventory work, checking in customers for in store readers & workshops, and facilities cleaning.
Interested applicants must have metaphysical, spiritual experience as well as strong customer service experience. Strong computer skills and communication skills are preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office applications are a plus. Must be able to engage customers, respond to customer cues and make customers feel welcome via phone, email and in person interactions. You must be an active learner, open minded and tolerant of other people’s beliefs and practices. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Responsibilities:
Process all sales and orders coming from in store shopping, phone, and online ordering.
Greet and direct customers arriving for shopping, readings and classes.
Be authentic, aware and responsive to customer cues.
Answer customers’ questions about specific products and services.
Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
Cross-sell products and services.
Ensure displays are fully stocked.
Process, pack and label orders for shipping.
Use Excel spreadsheets for tracking class attendance and inventory projects.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in Retail Customer Service
Experience in metaphysical, spiritual and holistic topics (such as: crystals, oracle and tarot decks, Reiki, meditation, Shamanism etc.)
Able to work a flexible rotating schedule of days, evenings and weekends.
Great customer services skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work well as part of a team and have situational awareness to determine which type of help is needed in certain situations.
Basic math skills.
Comfort and experience working with computers, data entry and attention to detail (especially with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook).
