Body1 seeks a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our creative team. BDRs at Body1 research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. As a BDR, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how Body1 can help a life science business grow, and successfully position the Body1 value proposition to develop a fully-qualified lead and then help nurture that lead into a happy client.Compensation
This position offers a base salary and generous, uncapped commission. Successful candidates will earn $75-80K+/yr. Responsibilities
You will develop new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will work closely with other Body1 colleagues to convert these opportunities to clients. Specific activities will include:Building a database of target accounts
Developing and implementing appropriate prospecting strategies
Persistent prospecting (70-100 activities per day) to qualify leads via calls, emails, social media & referrals
Phone qualifying specific prospects, as assigned, while creating a positive first impression
Rapidly responding to prospect inquiries, sharing Body1’s value proposition, and qualifying leads
Applying a thorough understanding of business practices and industry trends to identify, research and develop leads.
Assessing a prospect's business and potential for partnering with Body1
Understanding prospects' business and their buying objectives
Qualifying prospects’ interest and purchasing power for Body1 products & services by:
identifying Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeframe
Following up in a prompt , persistent and organized manner while maintaining a sense of urgency
Nurture existing leads to drive progression to the sales funnel
Incorporating product & service knowledge to advance the sales process
Collaboratively scheduling demonstrations and presentations
Demonstrating Body1’s product and services to prospective buyers
Mapping out and coordinating meetings with stakeholders within an organization
Briefing colleagues to ensure a smooth & informed transition of qualified opportunities
Supporting the prospect through the sales process to implementation hand-off
Maintaining accurate information in our CRM system
Actively participate in team learning opportunities and your own personal development
Achieving daily targets for lead generation activity
Achieving quarterly targets for converting qualified opportunities

Previous successful sales experience:
using multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

A college degree in a relevant field
Experience in digital marketing, software & healthcare are not required, but would be major pluses

This is a full-time, inside position based in our beautiful 5th floor office, 1 block from the Cambridge Central Square Red Line stop. The office includes unlimited coffee, tea & other beverages plus snacks. Body1 provides unlimited paid vacation and sick time as well as a generous health care stipend.
