Boston's Northend Award Winning Salon is looking to hire an experienced Stylist and a Stylist Assistant to our team; candidate should be an individual who has an upbeat and energetic work ethic. Candidates need to work effectively independently and in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Must be able to multitask and keep a positive attitude.
Stylist Position Description
Ma Cosmetology License.
Be knowledgeable with current hair cutting, styling and color trends.
Color knowledge a must (color wheel, underlining pigment, foundations of color)
Social Media a plus to help build your social media presents. (We will help and support you)
Pay attention to details
Have the ability to listen to staff and clients for their needs.
Flexibility to build clients if you are starting with none.
Stylist with a clientele a plus (we will help build your clientele busy salon)
Up styling and Make-up skills are another plus
Salon Assistant Description
Flexible schedule which may include days or night and Saturday.
Eager to learn grow and ask questions.
Salon Assistant must be in cosmetology school or licensed
Is versatile with the changing needs of the salon.
Be on time
Professional stylish appearance.
Take direction and communicate with others
Keep busy and ask for help when needed
Team Player
Both candidates must be:
Social media experience needed / Instagram Tik Tok ect.
Excellent communication skills
Friendly and people-oriented
Customer service driven
Extremely detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to prioritize effectively
To be punctual and reliable
