Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Bucket Truck Operator / Tree Climber to join our crew. This is a full-time, year-round position for a reliable and safety-focused individual who can handle complex tree removals, aerial operations, and pruning work efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a bucket truck for tree removals, pruning, and storm cleanups
Perform technical climbing and rigging when bucket access is limited
Operate chainsaws, ropes, rigging systems, and other tree care equipment
Communicate clearly with ground crew and crew leader to ensure safe, efficient workflow
Maintain equipment and vehicles in clean, working condition
Follow ANSI and OSHA safety standards at all times
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a tree climber or bucket operator
Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred but not required)
Strong knowledge of tree species, rigging techniques, and aerial safety practices
Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical labor daily
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience ($25–$40/hr)
