Responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, completing work orders, and maintaining and diagnosing all HVAC mechanisms within the hangars and terminal buildings. This individual will perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs while ensuring standards within applicable laws, HVAC codes and regulations are met. In addition, the individual will perform other necessary repairs, maintenance, restoration, and placement of various components of the physical structure of buildings and shop equipment as needed. Location:Boston Logan International AirportShift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm(Tuesday to Saturday)Salary: $36.00 - $39.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental InsuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offBirthday offVision insuranceESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, and evaporative coolers.Perform minor to complex service work on HVAC systems.Follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.Basic general maintenance skills.Available for an assigned emergency on-call schedule.Assists outside service personnel, inspectors, and vendors.Keeps workspace neat, clean, and free of clutter.Understand and comply with OSHA, Safety and PPE requirements.Carry a cell phone for coverage and site-wide communication.Perform all other work related duties as assigned.
