Manzi Appraisers & Restoration in Woburn is hiring a skilled furniture/wood restorer for part-time bench work.
Hours: Tue–Fri, 10–4 (24 hrs/week).
Pay: $25–$30/hr depending on experience.
Looking for experience in:
Stripping finishes (chemical & mechanical)
Sanding + surface prep
Wood repairs: cracks, loose joints, veneer, stabilization
Color matching: stains, dyes, toners
Applying finishes (shellac, lacquer, varnish, oil, water-based)
Basic fabrication/patching when needed
Great fit for:
Experienced restorers
Retired or semi-retired woodworkers
Cabinetmakers or finishers who want steady, part-time shop work
Requirements:
Real hands-on restoration or woodworking experience
Valid driver’s license
Able to lift 75 lbs with help
Background check & drug screen
Reliable and takes pride in craftsmanship
