We're Hiring: Handyman / General Contractor / Jack-of-All-Trades
Are you a skilled, reliable, and versatile professional who takes pride in quality workmanship? Our mid-sized property management company is looking for a Handyman/General Contractor to help maintain and improve our portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
About Us:
We manage a diverse mix of properties in Cambridge, Somerville, Boston and surrounding areas and are committed to providing top-tier service to both tenants and property owners. As we grow, we need someone hands-on, proactive, and dependable to support our maintenance and repair needs.
What You’ll Do:
Perform general repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.). We also do large renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, decks etc. If you are able to perform larger scope projects that is helpful.
Complete property turnover tasks and renovations
Handle routine inspections and respond to work orders promptly
Work with property managers to prioritize and schedule jobs
Coordinate with vendors and specialists when needed
Ensure safety and code compliance across all projects
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in property maintenance, general contracting, or similar role
A broad range of handyman skills – you're the go-to person who can “figure it out”
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Must have own tools (preferred but not required)
