Your Garden Curator is a full service landscape design, construction and maintenance company that uses an organic approach. The aim of Your Garden Curator is to enhance and preserve the green areas of the urban and suburban environment, through the use of eco-friendly design, organic products, sustainable resources and supporting the local economy.
We are a growing landscape company based in Somerville that offers its employees a variety of benefits, and competitive wages based on your experience. Compensation: $18 - $35 per hour depending upon experience, plus medical benefits and paid time-off.
Our services include Garden Maintenance, Design and Construction. We're looking for Gardeners and Landscapers of all levels to add to our team and perform tasks such as:
Fine garden maintenance, weeding, deadheading etc.
Seasonal flower plantings in beds and containers.
Spring and fall clean ups.
Edging and mulching garden beds.
Hand pruning of various types of shrubs and small trees.
Lawn care using mowers, weed whackers and blowers
General landscape maintenance tasks.
New planting installations.
Masonry and hardscape projects.
The ideal candidates should have these minimum qualifications:
1+ years of work experience performing residential garden and landscape tasks.
Knowledge and understanding of plant identification and plant care.
Be in good physical condition to perform labor intensive and daily outdoor work.
Have the ability to drive a work truck and properly use basic landscape tools.
Have a positive attitude.
Having a good sense of the natural environment is also a big plus.
Time management skills and accountability.
Good communication skills.
Bi-lingual a plus.
Our day is usually between 8-12 hrs. These hours can vary depending on the season. We typically work a 6 day week during the busy season, Mon-Sat.
